The Oska's
We have now reached the end of our project and as a result, the students have produced their final piece in the form of a movie.
The movie they have created using their iPads has been formed after weeks of work based around the poem 'This Is Just To Say' by William Carlos Williams. Students have spent the past three terms investigating this poem, using a range of apps to explore, map, make and remake their own movie interpretation of the poem.
Naturally, the poem was interpreted in a number of different ways and we therefore had six final movies all differing in their interpretation and production.
The project culminated in the first Academy movie awards called The Oska's (See what we did?). All movies were shown in our 90 seater lecture theatre in front of the class themselves, Governors, VIPs, their peers and teachers. Using Nearpod, students voted for their winning movie.
